Privacy Policy

This policy explains what CrewDay collects, why, and how it's protected — in plain language. The short version: we collect only what the app needs to work, we isolate every team's data, and we never sell it.

What we collect

• Account details — a manager's name and email; a worker's name plus a phone number and/or email used to sign in.
• Work content — the tasks, checklists, notes, comments, photo proof, and file attachments you create in the app.
• Basic technical data — the minimal logs and device information needed to operate the service securely and fix problems.

How your data is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase, our hosting and database provider, on managed cloud infrastructure. Photos and file attachments are held in Supabase Storage; everything else lives in a Postgres database. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

Team isolation

Every team's data is isolated at the database level using row-level security. A worker only ever sees their own tasks, and one team can never read another team's tasks, photos, or notes. This isolation is enforced by the database on every request, not just in the app.

How we use it

We use your data solely to provide and operate CrewDay — showing your board, delivering tasks to workers, storing photo proof, sending notifications you've enabled, and processing your subscription. We do not use your work content for advertising.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data or your team's data to anyone.
• We don't share it with third parties except the service providers required to run CrewDay (such as our hosting provider Supabase and, if you subscribe, a payment processor), and only to the extent needed.
• We don't use your tasks, photos, or notes for advertising or profiling.

Your rights

You can access and update your information in the app, and you can request that your account and its data be deleted. Email us and we'll help. Deleting a task, photo, or account removes that content from the active service.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account or content, it's removed from the live service within a reasonable period, subject to short-term backups and any legal obligations.

Children

CrewDay is a workplace tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
