What per-user pricing actually costs you
Published per-user rates in this category generally run somewhere around $6 to $13 per worker per month, and some route-based tools are considerably higher. Check any specific vendor’s current pricing yourself — it changes — but the shape is consistent.
At $9 a head, a crew of ten is $90 a month, or $1,080 a year, for software that assigns tasks. At twenty, it’s $2,160. The same work, for the same manager, costing more because you hired.
Why flat pricing suits crew work specifically
Crew businesses have headcount that moves — seasonal in landscaping and snow removal, high-turnover in cleaning, job-dependent in construction. Per-user billing turns all of that movement into finance admin: seats to add, seats to remove, seats you’re quietly paying for because nobody removed them.
A flat price removes the question. You add whoever is working this week and never think about the bill.

The full app for the manager and unlimited crew members: the daily board, live status, photo proof, checklists inside tasks, recurring jobs, and the overdue view. There is no free tier that removes the useful parts and no upgrade for the features you’d actually want.

The honest trade-off
CrewDay is smaller in scope than the per-user platforms, on purpose. There is no GPS tracking, no geofenced time clock, no payroll export, no invoicing, no job costing. If you need those, the per-seat tools earn their money and you should buy one.
